Sean Light Named New Director of Imaging Services at Takoma Hospital
GREENEVILLE, TN – Sean Light has been named the Director of Imaging Services at Takoma Adventist Hospital.
Light, who is registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, began his new job on June 5.
“Sean brings a depth of professional experience, combined with a commitment to excellence in healthcare, that will be assets to the Takoma team,” Carlyle Walton, the hospital’s president and chief executive officer, said.
Light received a bachelor of science degree in public health and healthcare administration and an associate degree in radiological science from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
“This job is an opportunity for me to be a part of a local community,” Light said. “I can give something back, through radiology, and I’m excited about that.”
He has worked as radiology information manager at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville; PACS administrator and radiology information manager at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport; and operations manager for Diagnostic Imaging Services in Washington County for Mountain States Health Alliance.
