GREENEVILLE, TN – Takoma Regional Hospital volunteers will host a fashion and accessory sale Nov. 5-6, with proceeds going toward a hospital improvement project.
The Herb Hamilton Fashion and Accessory Sale will be held in the hospital’s boardroom on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 7 a.m. till midnight, and on Friday, Nov. 6, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
Items offered include jewelry, watches, towels, luggage, sheets, shoes and handbags, according to Lindy Riley, director of the hospital’s volunteers.
“Here’s an opportunity to visit a boutique and a bath and bed shop without having to spend money on gas,” Riley said. “The volunteers at North Oaks Health System in Hammond, LA, recommended this fashion line to us, saying that everyone loved what they saw. It was a very popular sale for them.”
Proceeds from the sale will be used to help redecorate the Everett and Carolyn Coolidge Volunteer Conference Center, where many public events are held. “We can’t wait to see the finished product,” Riley said.
