CNA Class Starting Oct. 11 at Center For Technology
GREENEVILLE, TN – A new certified nursing aide class will begin Oct. 11 at the Greeneville Center for Technology.
The class is the result of a partnership between the Center, Takoma Adventist Hospital and Walters State Community College.
“There is a great need for CNAs in this area,” Larry Kelley, director of Continuing Education at the Center, said. “These graduates will help fill that void.”
Classes begin Tuesday, Oct. 11, and will meet mostly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-9 p.m.
The clinical section of the training will be scheduled in mid-December and require students to be available from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost for the class is $320. Additional fees will be required for liability insurance, a state examination, uniforms, and a physical examination, including the Hepatitis B series vaccination.
The class has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Health.
Class size is limited. To register, please call the Center for Technology at 639-3790.
