Carlyle Walton receives Crystal Angel Award for outstanding leadership

GREENEVILLE – Carlyle Walton, president and chief executive officer of Takoma Regional Hospital, was recently honored by Adventist Health System for his outstanding leadership in specific mission-related achievements.

Walton received the Crystal Angel Award, which is given by Adventist for not only outstanding mission-related achievements but also overall spiritual leadership as well. Takoma Regional became a member of Wellmont Health System just over a year ago when Wellmont and Adventist Health System agreed to jointly own the hospital.

Walton was presented with the Crystal Angel Award at Adventist Health System’s 18th annual mission conference.
