GREENEVILLE, TN – The Forget-Me-Not-Shoppe, Takoma Adventist Hospital’s gift shop, has reopened in its new, expanded location.
Run by Takoma Volunteers, the gift shop is now located on the first floor near the hospital’s main entrance. A special open house, complete with refreshments, was held Monday, Sept. 20.
“It is really beautiful,” Linda Kirk, director of the volunteers, said. “The shop features mirrored slat walls, and a large cherry counter with a hunter green countertop. Plus, it’s much larger than before.”
New merchandise includes fall and Christmas decorations, as well as a line of crystal products. “We have cards, flowers, balloons, plush animals, baby gifts, wedding gifts, some clothing, and snacks,” Kirk said.
The shop, which is open to the public, is open Mondays from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Fridays from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
