“We are dedicated to improving function, self-sufficiency and quality of life,” Dr. Leicht said. “Most importantly, patients can undergo rehabilitation close to home in a hospital setting with family involved. Families don’t have to worry about traveling and patients always do better with families receiving training from staff. I am very impressed with this unit and this hospital. Takoma’s inpatient rehabilitation unit provides excellent patient care right here in Greeneville with outstanding outcomes and patient satisfaction, compared to any unit where I have worked before.”
