GREENEVILLE, TN – Popular host of the national children’s program, “Kids Time,” will be guest speaker Saturday, June 10, at the Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Brenda K. Walsh, who also is a noted author and singer, will speak on “Out Of Your Comfort Zone,” starting at 11:30. The lecture will focus on ways to become “an instrument” of God.
Following lunch, Walsh will speak from 3-5 p.m. on “Between Hell and High Water…God Was There,” telling how God worked miracles during the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
Following dinner, Walsh will share her personal insights on domestic violence during “Battered To Blessed…My Personal Journey” from 7:30-9 p.m.
Walsh is producer and host of “Kids Time” on 3ABN and has worked in children’s ministries most of her life. She is a frequent guest on “3ABN Today,” and has authored several books on vegan vegetarian cooking, including “Cooking With The Micheff Sisters” and “Cooking Entrees With The Micheff Sisters.”
She also has co-authored a book with Dr. Kay Kuzma about the Hurricane Katrina victims called “Between Hell and High Water.”
In “Battered To Blessed,” Walsh writes about her experiences with domestic violence.
Walsh also has released three gospel CDs called “The Micheff Sisters’ Family Favorites,” “Leaning On Jesus” and “Hymns from the Heart.”
Walsh, who lives in Knoxville with her husband Tim, also is a registered nurse, interior decorator and floral designer. She has two grown daughters, Becky and Linda, and is grandmother of Michael James and Jason Patrick.
