       At Takoma Regional Hospital’s ER we are not satisfied with just providing you advanced clinical care, we want to provide you a No Wait ER experience. Our goal is to begin your emergency care in 5 minutes or less!

For over 95% of our patients, treatment begins in 5 minutes or less, when they are evaluated by an ER nurse.   Actual times will vary, but rest assured we are committed to treating your emergency with urgency.

As far as Patient Safety goes, you can relax knowing that we are one of only three hospitals in Tennessee to receive top marks in three overall patient safety criteria including prevention of medication errors, according to an independent study (August 2009) by the leapfroggroup.  The other two hospitals:  Vanderbilt University Hospital and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
